Frequent travelers often stay at the same hotel chains every time they travel for business or vacations, because of the reward programs that are offered by the hotels. When you stay a certain number of times you earn enough points for a free night. The primary benefit of getting a hotel credit card is that you will accumulate points faster and using your credit card for hotel expenses often means double or triple points.

Most hotel credit cards do not limit the reward program to free nights. You can also choose free room upgrades and other perks.
