What is a balance transfer?
A balance transfer allows you to move debt from one credit card to another. This can be a benefit if you find a credit card with a lower APR or they can be initiated to take advantage of a balance transfer introductory offer, which can be as low as 0% APR.
Balance transfer request can include up to a 3% fee, but there are also many credit cards with no balance transfer fee.
